Glenmorangie 10yo 40% (fresh but older bottling)
- Colour : Pale 9ct gold
- Nose : Fruity, apples and pears, butter and creamy caramel with vanilla notes - very nice!
- Palate / Mouth : Warm (almost stinging), pear drops, vanilla and creamy butter. With water - more cream, more buttery flavours, softer
- Finish : Short-ish finish, a soft almost cloying (but comforting rather than irritating) mouth feel.
- Conclusion : I like this style of whisky, its soft and not too demanding, great to drink outside in the summer.
